The legendary icon of Fashion and music, The Queen of Pop, was born with the name Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, on August 16 in 1958 in Bay City, Michigan, U.S, better known as Madonna. Is an American singer, dancer, actress, songwriter, and businesswoman of Italian descent and French Canadian.
Even as a child, Madonna began seeing dance classes with a choreographer known who manages to instill in the young Madonna the need to surrender body and soul to her dream of being a great artist. Thanks to the support of his teacher Christopher Flynn, Madonna won a scholarship to the University of Michigan at which he joined in 1975. Later in 1978, against the advice of his father, she went to New York to further her studies of art. She began acting in modern dance companies with choreographer Pear Lang. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) she is the soloist with increased sales of the twentieth century, and the second with higher sales in the United States. In the UK she is the biggest selling female solo singles in history, with 17.6 million.
