Timothy Theodore Duncan was born in the US Virgin Islands on April 25, 1976, but he decides to take nationality for the United States of America. He is one of the best players that has given NBA history after leading the Revolution of the San Antonio Spurs with David Robinson and obtain 4 rings. Duncan holds a degree in Child Psychology from the University of Wake Forest finished his college career before entering the NBA.

Tim Duncan arrived in the NBA after being chosen in position 1 of the 1st round of NBA Draft 1997 by San Antonio Spurs. Since then began a memorable career with this team, he formed one of the most effective tandems in the history of the league with David Robinson and was listed as the most important in the history of the Spurs player. The duo formed with David was called Twin Towers; the phenomenal connection of these two spectaculars players was the key to win many games.

He played the position of Power Forward or in the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA since the 1997-98 season to 2015/16. Won 5 championship rings, 2 awards to the most valuable player of the NBA, 3 times went to Finals MVP and 10 appearances in the All-NBA Team also 3 in the second. Next to the selected Basketball United States, Tim Duncan won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. A knee injury he had left out of the previous edition of the games in Sydney. He has also appeared in 15 editions of the All-Star Game of the NBA. The day July 11, 2016 San Antonio Spurs announced the withdrawal of the legendary power forward. To date, Duncan averaged over their entire career 22.2 points per game and 12.1 rebounds per game.
