Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress who has a total net worth of $60 million. She was born on September 27th, 1972, in Los Angeles, California (USA). Her parents are an actress called Blythe Danner, and a producer/director Bruce Paltrow.

Her progenitor was Jewish, while her mother was Christian. Her brother had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. She has a younger brother, Jake Paltrow. Her uncle is the opera singer and actor Harry Danner. She lived in her hometown until she was eleven, when her family moved to New York. Her life was always tied to art, since she had spent her summer vacation in Berkshires Massachusetts, where her mother acted. Her first foray into the stages came at age of 5.

Studies.

In 1991, she began to study Art History at the University of California in Santa Barbara. She speaks fluent Spanish since she lived as an exchange student in the Spanish town of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), which has named her adopted daughter.

First film appearance.

When she, her parents, and her friends, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, were to watch “The Silence of the Lambs,” as they waited in line to enter, Spielberg offered the role of Wendy for his next film, “Hook” 1991).

Consolidation as actress.

The following year, she accepted a leading role in the television miniseries, Cruel Doubt. Then the role of a student in Malice (1993), along with Nicole Kidman and Alec Baldwin, and James Caan’s girlfriend in “Flesh and Bone”. In 1994, she appeared in “Vicious Circle” and played Nick Nolte’s daughter in “Jefferson in Paris” (1995) and in the same year shared with Elizabeth Perkins and Whoopi Goldberg in “Moonlight and Valentino”.

Her big break came in 1995, when she starred in David Fincher’s “Seven”. During the filming, along with her co-protagonist, Brad Pitt, she began a romance that would take her to appear in magazines around the world.

Other film and Academy Award.

In 1996, she worked in The Pallbearer, and later, in the adaptation novel of Jane Austen, “Emma”; her first important protagonist. James Cameron offered the role of ‘Rose’ in “Titanic” (role that plays Kate Winslet), but she did not accept.

She won recognition with the feature film “Shakespeare in Love”, which embodies Viola, where she highlighted by an impeccable English accent and a superior level of performance, which is demonstrated in her ease to change sex with her double role of Romeo-Viola. For that performance, she won the Golden Globe and the Oscar for Best Actress of the Year (1999).

Personal life.

Before joining Chris Martin in 2003, a marriage that has had two children (Apple and Moses), she became involved in romances with actors Robert Sean Leonard, Brad Pitt, Mark Wahlberg, Ben Affleck, James Purefoy and Luke Wilson. In addition, there were rumors that linked her sentimentally with the then Spanish prince Felipe de Borbón King of Spain, with the musical producer of her friend Madonna, Guy Oseary, and actors Scott Speedman, Aaron Eckhart and Viggo Mortensen.
