Slavia Ecclestone, or as she better known, Slavica Radic, was born in Rijeka, Croatia on June 2, 1958. She is a former model and the ex-wife of Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone. When she was 7 years old after her parents’ divorce, she was raised by her mother Ljubica.
Slavica started her career by modeling for some remarkable designers, including Armani. Working in different editorials, ad campaigns, and runway shows, she became a professional international model very quickly. In 1982, Slavica Radic got together with Bernie Ecclestone while she was working as a model at a Formula One promotional event. Then, with full determination, Bernie followed her, regardless of disparities in ages (she was only 28 years old and he was 52), in languages (she spoke Italian and Croatian, and he spoke only English), in height (Slavica was taller than him by nearly a foot). After 23 years of marriage, Slavica and Bernie split up under amicable circumstances, and they topped the headlines. She led the list of The Richest Divorcees, with a $1.2 billion net worth. This led her to become one of the most moneyed woman in Britain.
Slavica has two daughters, Petra (age 22) and Tamara (age 26), who are already famous just for being the daughters of Slavica and Bernie. Petra has just gotten a present from her beloved father, a £92 million house (about $112 million, cited as the most expensive in America). She also has two other houses in Chelsea, one of which is worth £56 million. Petra is the new model of Ultimo Swimwear, following in her mother’s footsteps with a modeling career.
This wealthy couple and their family have been closely followed by the media since the celebration of Petra’s lavish marriage ceremony, where the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed and £4,000 bottles of wine were offered to the guests.
