Sylvester Stallone is an American actor, producer, and scriptwriter whose net worth is currently estimated in $400 million. Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone was born on July 6th, 1946 in New York (USA). Son of Jacqueline France Labofish (1921-), a trapeze artist and showgirl, then a hairdresser, astrologist, dance teacher and representative of women’s wrestling professionals, who came to run a women’s gymnasium, and Joaquin Stallone Pastorino (1919-2011) a hairdresser.

Stallone’s father was a native of Gioia del Colle (province of Bari, Italy), his mother has Jewish-Russian and French ancestry. He has a brother named Frank Stallone (born 1950), an occasional musician and actor; Several of his songs have been part of the soundtrack of Sylvester Stallone’s films. His sister by his mother side, Toni Ann D’Alto, born in 1964, and died in 2012.

Problems during his delivery.

His mother suffered complications during labor, forcing her obstetricians to use two pairs of forceps; The misuse of these caused that they accidentally cut a nerve from the head of the neonate, causing paralysis in part of his face. Studies.

In the 1960s, Stallone studied at the American College of Switzerland, Leysin, and finally at the University of Miami for three years. But even though he had problems at school and was expelled from various centers, in Philadelphia he excelled as a soccer practitioner.

Financial problems.

In the early 1970s, to pay for drama classes, he had to work as an actor in a pornographic film called The Party at Kitty and Stud’s, Stallone told Playboy magazine that economic necessity forced him to make that decision, and Who by then, he had only $ 20 in his bank account.

Career in the cinema.

Stallone did not get fame until his protagonist role in the world-wide success Rocky in 1976. After the resounding, global success of the film, Stallone was thrown to fame and was considered as a dramatic protagonist. Rocky won the Oscar for Best Motion Picture, and he was also nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor and Oscar for Best Screenplay. In 2016, he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Creed, a Rocky spin-off.
