Born on March 25th, 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio. (USA) she is the daughter of Barbara Keck and Stephen Parker. She was raised in a Jewish family. She studied on the American Ballet School, and the Professional Children’s School, before making her debut on Broadway by appearing in a version of Smile and Tears.

She had her first opportunity on T.V in a film called The Little Match Girl (1974), and in series like Square Pegs.

Sarah has three children with Matthew. The first one, called James Wilkie Broderick was born in 2002. Years later, in 2009, the couple had twins, Marion and Tabitha, but she was not the carrier of the babies. Instead, they decided to pay for a belly for rent.
Currently, she has continued working by either acting in films such as, Did you Hear about the Morgans? (2009), where she shared the credits with the British actor Hugh Grant. The film is about a couple from New York who have to move out the city to hide as protected witnesses in a small town in Wyoming.
