Daniel Craig gained famous for being James Bond during the last 2 films of the saga. He currently has an estimated net worth of $95 million. Daniel Wroughton Craig was born in Chester, Cheshire (England) on March 2nd, 1968.  Daniel’s mother was an art teacher.

Her name is Carol Olivia Williams While his father, John Wroughton Craig was the owner of a famous pub called “Ring O’ Bells” in Frodsham, as well as the “Boot Inn” in Tarporley. Both places were in Cheshire. He also was a member of the merchant navy as midshipman. Daniel Craig has an older sister who was born in 1965. Her name is Lea Craig.

Studies

Raised on the Worrall peninsula, northwest of England. Craig attended the Frodsham Church of England Primary School in Frodsham, and the Holy Trinity Primary School in Hoylake, County Merseyside. He later attended Hilbre High School in West Kirby, Merseyside. Upon completing his compulsory secondary education at the age of 16 at Hilbre High School, he enrolled at Calday Grange Grammar School, located in Caldy Hill in the city of West Kirby, and he played rugby at the Hoylake Rugby Club team.

Acting.

Craig began acting in school plays at the age of six, in Frodsham debuted with the work Oliver! since his interest in the performance was strongly motivated by the visits that made to his mother in the Everyman Theater of the center of Liverpool. His mother was his impetus in his artistic aspirations. At the age of 16, Craig was admitted after an audition at the National Youth Theater, so he left Calday School, and moved to London, where he worked part-time in restaurants to finance his training.

Little by little he managed to make his way in the film industry with accountant appearances in films until he achieved stardom. He debuted with The Power of One (1992), and after appearing in some minor titles like Obsession (1997), The Trench (1999), Some Voices (2000), Hotel Splendide (2000), The Mother Love (2004), appears in 1998 in the film Elizabeth starring Cate Blanchett as John Ballard, and in 2000 in the film to greater glory of Kim Basinger I Dreamed of Africa.

James Bond.

His name had entered the list of future candidates to interpret Agent 007, since Pierce Brosnan had given the settlement himself when refusing to roll Casino Royale, since it tells the story of how Bond happened to be double agent 00, And Brosnan was too old to play a “so young” role, so they also sought to reshape the character by making it more real, and to do so he had to find a new actor to interpret.

Craig got a role in which he was in the spotlight of critical and public attention, becoming Agent 007, with “license to kill” for the service of her majesty, in the movie Casino Royale (2006). The critics surrendered to his interpretation, and considered him the best Bond of the saga and, even, it dropped him a nomination, among others, to the BAFTA Award – something that none of the actors that have incarnated the character, in the 44 years of the franchise history had had.
