It is a mixed martial arts fighter and withdrawal judoka, born on February 1 of 1987 in Riverside County, California. Daughter of Ann Maria Rousey a professional judoka, she is of Venezuelan descent on her mother’s side. From the day of her birth it was said that she was going to be quite feisty because in some way or another has always been linked to misfortune. During birth, the umbilical cord almost killed her and this would be something that long term would give her trouble to learn to speak, at the age of 8 years she had to face the tragedy that was the suicide of her father Ron Rousey.
Her mother was the one who gave all that example of perseverance, willpower and improvement, whenever she interviewed in her difficult childhood, the successes of her career and personal life. Ronda always gives all the credit to her mother, because her mother was judoka, the first fighting style that she learned was judo at the age of 16 she began to train with Jimmy Pedro the most successful judoka of US which leads her to get a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, a silver in the world championship of 2007 and gold in the Pan American games the same year.
In November 2012 Dana White, UFC president, gives the announcement at a news conference that Ronda would be the first female fighter to sign with UFC and first female champion of bantamweight division. In this format fight on February 23 of 2013, she defends her title against Liz Carmouche. In its history of the UFC, Ronda Rousey ended with a record of 13 fights, 12 wins 3 knockout and 9 by submission and one knockout loss which occurred on November 15 of 2015 against Holly Holm in the UFC 193, losing the fight and the undefeated title and championship.
Her beauty, charisma and career in martial arts also have led to a career in modeling and acting in action movies, having participation in The expendables 3 and Furious 7.
